Clackamas County Fair Talent Show Registration Opens
Show us what you got at this year's Clackamas County Fair, Aug. 14-18 in Canby. Winners get cash and a chance to perform in Salem.
CANBY, OR — Do you have a talent you'd like to display in public at the Clackamas County Fair and Rodeo this August? If so, get your entry form turned in before July 6 for a chance to win cash prizes and local notoriety.
The 2018 Clackamas County Fair Talent Show Competition will be held Aug. 14 through 18 at the Clackamas County Fairgrounds in Canby, 694 N.E. Fourth Ave. Both adult and youth entrants are encouraged to show their stuff, with talent show auditions being held July 17 at the fairgrounds' main pavilion.
Entrants will be separated into three categories: child (5 to 9 years old), youth (10 to 17 years old), and adult (18 years and older). The top three winners from the youth and adult categories will be awarded cash prizes and placement certificates, while winners from the child category will receive ribbons.
Talent show competitions will be held Aug. 14, 16, and 18 on the Grove Stage at the fairgrounds.
While residents from around the state are encouraged to participate, the top placing Clackamas County residents in each category will go on to perform in the statewide competition at the Oregon State Fair in Salem, which begins Aug. 24.
Interested performers can get more information — including rules, regulations, and entry forms — from ClackamasCountyEventCenter.com.
