Over the next three years, the Clackamas Regional Center Mobility Improvement Project will complete more than 30 individual transportation improvements needed in the Clackamas Regional Center area by the county’s Development Agency.
These improvements are designed to reduce congestion, improve safety, and provide better connections for all travelers, including pedestrians, bicyclists, motorists and transit riders, including widened roads and intersections, new bike and pedestrian paths and crossings, added bus stops, and improved street lighting and drainage.
With extensive improvements on the way, the project team is working to design features to help identify the Clackamas Regional Center as a special place to live, work and shop. Three designs for gateway signs have been developed, and the public is invited to express their views about which design they prefer.
