Reminder from Clackamas County Parks: Level 3 Fire Warning remains in effect

The Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF) has issued a Level 3 Fire Warning for the North Cascade District that remains in effect for all Clackamas County Parks and forestlands.

The North Cascade District moved to Industrial Fire Precaution Level (IFPL) 3 on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 for all lands protected by the North Cascade District and in regulated use areas. This precaution level remains in effect for all Clackamas County Parks and county-owned forestlands.

The North Cascade District covers the majority of Clackamas County east of I-5 and I-205, including three County camping parks – Barton Park, Metzler Park and Feyrer Park – as well as all county-owned forestlands. ODF provides jurisdiction over County Parks as the parks are considered a regulated public facility. Local fire districts will issue their own fire danger warnings and restrictions for extreme fire conditions.
