Vehicle Registration Fee public hearings scheduled for Feb. 7, Feb. 21 


The Board of County Commissioners is considering an ordinance to fund needed traffic safety improvements, congestion relief and maintenance of local roads through a vehicle registration fee (VRF). This proposal comes after years of analysis and discussions with the community, businesses and cities in the county.

Public hearings will be held this Thursday, Feb. 7 at 10 a.m. and on Thursday, Feb. 21 at 6 p.m. in the Public Services Building, fourth floor, 2051 Kaen Road in Oregon City. The public is welcome to attend to present comments of up to three minutes and/or to submit written comments.
